Using boxing and kickboxing training methods, as a means to achieve your fitness goals is as safe as any other form of exercise. Remember; always check with your doctor before beginning ANY fitness program to ensure your good health before starting.

To ensure the highest quality of service, no more than 4 people per trainer are recommended. We do however facilitate larger group training and can establish regularly scheduled classes for groups of 5 or more people. Call for details.

I’ve never boxed or kick boxed before, can I do this?
Absolutely! There was a time when everyone who boxes or kick boxes had never boxed or kick boxed before and look at them now!

How far will an AB&F trainer travel to train me?
Realistically, if we don’t have a trainer in your immediate area, you can expect one to drive up to 20 miles for a session. Beyond that, they will have to factor in drive time as part of your session rates.

Am I going to get hit?
Only if you want to! Some people want the realism in their self-defense training and others develop skill enough that they wish to test it in the ring. We however do not push or promote full contact between fitness clients and trainers.

Can I use this as self-defense?
Definitely!!! There are only a hand full of martial arts that are considered applicable in a real life situations not to mention are taught to military and police forces around the world… crav maga, jeet-kun-do, jiu-jitsu and muay thai.
