About Muay Thai
Muay Thai aka Thai Boxing aka Thai Kickboxing is known as “The Science of Eight Limbs” as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this cardio intensive hard martial art.
When utilized properly, the Muay Thai philosophy goes, “A 100 pound woman can knock out a 200 pound man with proper Muay Thai technique”! That is American Boxing Muay Thai!

Note: It should be each students desire to advance in their Thai Boxing. At American Boxing we use a colored pra jaed (Muay Thai Ceremonial armbands) as a measure of promotion in skill and rank. Our particular style of Muay Thai is called Sen Muay Thai and a rank will be given to each student based on a curriculum established by Kru Dave Nielsen. His witness of your skills and at certain levels, testing will determine your pra jaed level. There are no additional fees for ranking or testing.
It is important to understand that in each phase, the student will be given opportunity to work with those below and above their skill, to teach and be taught. At a point, the student will receive a certification from Kru Dave Nielsen and Kru Gina signifying a competency in Muay Thai Kickboxing that will be recognized throughout the World!
